The Cut Out Bin #4: The Sweetest Sound Blossom Yet
The best one yet! If you can get past the first song, the purple bottle (I am not sure what I was thinking when I even put that one on) some sweet classic jazz in the form of Fine and Dandy by Sonny Stitt comes next. Then we’re treated to Taxi, a little psychedelic Africa from the Rough Guide to Psychedelic Africa. Following that up is some Ry Cooder from a fantastic concept album called Chavez Ravine. Billy Bragg performs Airline to Heavan. Toots and the Maytals with Trey Anastasio do Sweet and Dandy. Finally, get on your feet if your not trapped in your cubicle and dance a bit to some Scissors Sisters and finish up the set with Of Montreal which is not technically cutout material but a great song nonetheless. Enjoy!
