Erik tries to figure out the difference between MODEMS, DSL and cable connections. Jeremy attempts to explain how it all works. A MULE update is detailed which leads to a conversation of kids and video games of the 21st century. The guys talk about the merits of doing absolutely nothing in a completely connected world. The conversation steers toward the old 1% of the population owning 99% talk. Jeremy admits that he watched the American Idol finale (and enjoyed it). The spice of life is discussed. A plea for some listener feedback is made.

TFICast 63: The Big Brown PodCast
Jeremy runs into an old friend who poo-poos the idea of The Fundamental Interconnectedness of all Things which leads to a discussion of how TFICast fits amonst the plethora of other podcasts. The guys obtain a new Nintendo Entertainment System, play a game of MULE and then relate it to society. “TFICast 43: Garage Sale the Movie” resurfaces and Jeremy regrets selling the stuff that he did (however the regret almost instantly resolves itself). Jeremy and Erik discuss the money trap that is Disney World. Jeremy finds it difficult to articulate most thoughts. A parallel between school extracurricular activities and being an electronics dork is made. Jeremy and Erik reminisce about how cumbersome computers were in the mid to late 80s.
